Good morning and Happy Friday!!! Sorry I've been a bit behind in writing - I can't believe 2 1/2 weeks have passed since my last OB appointment. The best part about that is there's only 3 weeks to go until the formal ultrasound. As for baby.....I think we've finally worked out an understanding and he/she's been a little nicer to me lately. I still have my moments but overall, am feeling good. I can feel little wiggles every now and then, so things are also to that stage where there's the reality and reassurance of a growing baby inside. I can still wear my own clothes but like Flotty said the other day, "either you've been eating a lot lately or you look like a baby's in your tummy." Which lead Lydia to say "Daddy, she doesn't have a baby in her tummy....do you Mommy." She's been noticing changes and hasn't said much but looks and touches any chance she gets :) This is the weekend we have the talk.....I hope and pray she's as good about it as I've anticipated.

As far as baby goes, he or she is about 4-5 inches long and weighs a bit less than 3 ounces. If we were to take a peek, we would see baby exercising it's legs and arms and would be able to start making a fist and also starting to make facial expressions. I always thought that thinking about those changes makes it a little easier picture a tiny growing baby.....and a little more fun.

Other than that, there's not a lot to report on, just wanted to check in with an update. I anticipate the next update being after the big ultrasound. Until then, I hope you are all staying warm and enjoying your winter! If you don't have a warm get-away planned, at least take an evening to jump in a warm steamy tub with some Carribean music on, have a margarita and pretend for a moment that you're sitting around on vacation. I've tried (minus the margarita) but the kids find me sooner than I can even start to pretend....and it's not the same. :)

Take care - thanks for checking in and God bless!!
