I wake up early this morning to head into work, they call me and tell me that they don't need me, so I figure I'd run to the computer to go get some things taken care of. I walk by the front door to notice FRESH SNOW!! It is December and we've been avoiding the snow like crazy so far this season so I thought it was a nice surprise. More importantly, last night at work we were able to sneak in an ultrasound and check out this little one....and everything looks great! There's not too much to see but a uterus and a tiny little baby growing inside!! There was a very good heartbeat ticking away and baby's size is right on, measuring in at about 1/4". So far, so good! I definitely feel pregnant every day. I'm quickly reminded what morning (more realistically, all-day) sickness is like. It's a bitter-sweet thing....a reassuring sign that things are going well but one I could live without :) . Still a little over a month left to get through the first trimester (and these shots...), we keep praying that everything continues to go so well! Thanks for checking in!!
